Local Trust was established as a time-limited organisation to support communities involved in the Big Local programme. Now that the programme has ended, Local Trust is also set to close.

We have created a collection of frequently asked questions to help you understand more about why we are closing, how to continue accessing resources we’ve produced and where communities can go to find support after closure.

Why is Local Trust closing?
Are there plans to continue supporting Big Local areas now that the programme has closed?
How can I access Local Trust’s resources – toolkits, research, articles and stories – after closure?
Was there any money left after the Big Local programme ended?
How do staff feel about Local Trust’s closure?
What did Local Trust achieve over the last 15 years?
What happens to my personal data after Local Trust closes?
Are there other programmes and organisations that can support communities?

If you can’t find an answer to a particular question that you’re looking for, please contact info@localtrust.org.uk and a member of the team will respond to you as soon as possible.
