Regional clusters help groups of Big Local areas that are geographically close to one another to meet up, share learning and to network. Events are organised by external facilitators, but the content, format and location of events are led and agreed by members. Events are designed to promote even deeper collaboration between Big Local areas and provide space for residents to tackle a broad range of issues relevant to their region. As the regional clusters are designed to connect areas based on location, areas cannot be part of more than one regional cluster. We encourage areas to contribute to setting the agenda for events in their ‘region’ so that content is relevant to them.
The London Regional Cluster will take place online on Thursday 8th of December from 9:30am – 11:30am.
This event is the first of two in a series. We hope that your Big Local area can attend both events on 8 December and January (date to be confirmed) to get the most out of these sessions but if you can only make one date that is completely fine.
This event will be informal with an opportunity to share things your area is doing well and give you space to think about some of the things you plan to do. Some areas will share case studies highlighting things they have been doing over the last year to help to create information sharing and build learning across London areas. We encourage everyone attending to join in and tell others more about what you have been doing. There will also be chance for group discussions and to make it more exciting we will send all those attending a goodie pack before the sessions (please make sure you provide your home address on the sign-up form to receive this)!
