Food Builds Community: Into The Future

Following on from our first event about Big Local food activities, drawing together numerous Big Local areas to share and reflect on our research about work on food in communities, we’re holding a second event to discuss and plan what could happen next.

Join with other communities to discuss and draw together ideas on what support you’d like next from Local Trust, as well as, what you would value most from collaborating with other Big Local areas – this could be:

• Big Local events to increase knowledge of topics such as food insecurity, how to set up a community fridge, ideas for your community garden or impact on the planet.
• Joint projects with other Big Local areas around overcoming issues like securing more land locally for growing
• Support building stronger connections with food movements in your place to help transform the local food system
• Building a Big Local and national network of people and groups passionate about food, healthy living and making things better
