Warsop Parish

Save area

The Warsop Big Local area includes five individual settlements, quite geographically separated. A semi-rural area, was prospered during coal mining with the industry providing work, social activity and facilities.

We're excited about using our Big Local resources to bring about positive changes to the lives of local people across the Parish. The Big Warsop partnership worked tirelessly on engagement and promotional activities in the early phases, leading to developing the local profile and films of community needs and aspirations.

In September 2013, our first plan was approved by Local Trust, focusing on strengthening the community and building skills, especially among young people. Our third plan was endorsed in July 2016.
