North Cleethorpes

Save area

North Cleethorpes is an unusual Big Local area in that it comprises a strip of land along the South Bank of the Humber which contains five areas designated by the government as lower super output areas and encompasses a large part of Sidney Sussex Ward and a smaller part of Croft Baker Ward. This means that there isn’t a real centre to the area and the groups which operate in the area, and purely for the area, tend to focus on their own ward or street as their place of interest.

Having said that North Cleethorpes is also part of a seaside town which relies on visitors and holiday makers for a major part of its trade. The boundaries of North Cleethorpes contain areas of real local interest and concern including Chapman’s Pond, Cleethorpes Pier, Wonderland and the run down North Promenade.

We have engaged with over 3000 people of all ages who, live, work in and visit the area to establish the areas of concern people have and the ideas for making changes which are important to them.
