East Coseley

Save area

£1 million has been allocated to residents of East Coseley in Dudley. We are also being given all sorts of other support. We have worked together in East Coseley for over two years to develop a shared vision for our area and a plan for our Big Local activities. We have involved over 300 people who live, work or volunteer here and/or use clubs to take part in activities in our area.

We haven't heard anything which suggests that people who live, volunteer or work in our area want to be passive consumers or recipients of charity. Overwhelmingly people want to connect through activities and new uses of common spaces. We see Big Local as an opportunity to support this, and to tackle issues around debt and unemployment, and support the current generation of school leavers.
