Kevin has enjoyed a long history of facilitating successful community based regeneration.
Kevin led the establishment of Renaisi, in 1998, as an independent not-for-profit regeneration company. As chief executive, he developed the company as a market leader in high quality regeneration consultancy services majoring on facilitating community led initiatives through area based funding programmes. In 2009, the strength of Renaisi’s contribution to the sector was recognised with the national award of regeneration consultancy of the year.
Kevin retired in 2010, having served the regeneration sector for more than 20 years. During that time, Kevin worked as an adviser on strategy and programme delivery to and for national and local government, local strategic partnerships and other agencies and partnerships in the public, private, voluntary and community sectors. Kevin has also been a member of various cross sector boards and partnerships whose primary purpose has been to support deprived communities.
Kevin has a proud record of achievement in the management of high impact projects across the fields of education, business and employment, health, community safety, housing and the environment including a pioneering and award winning private finance initiative (PFI). In doing so, he has worked with a range of public, private, community and voluntary sector providers using a variety of funding sources
