Sharing in prosperity
Principles for shaping the design of the UKSPF and other place-based funding initiatives
This report, published by the Community Wealth Fund Alliance, discusses how place-based funding streams like the UK Shared Prosperity Fund can be designed to empower the communities deemed most ‘left behind’ by the economic system. This report draws together the evidence base around local economic development, and offers a set of principles for designing really impactful and long-lasting funding programmes, which have community control at their heart.
