Community Leadership Academy: taster session

Are you interested in taking part in the Community Leadership Academy but aren’t sure what to expect or whether the opportunity is for you? Come along to our taster session and find out what it’s all about!

The Community Leadership Academy provides support for the people making Big Local happen, by helping them to develop leadership skills and share knowledge that can benefit the whole community.

Created by Local Trust in partnership with Koreo, The Young Foundation and Northern Soul, the Community Leadership Academy provides structured support for community-led change as part of the Big Local programme. Participants take part in a range of individual and group sessions, including personal coaching to work on their own strengths and leadership style.

We know that this will be a step into the unknown for many people, so we are running some taster sessions in January 2021. They are an opportunity to find out more about the programme, meet some of the people who will be working on it, meet some of the other people who are interested in taking part, and see what it would be like to be in a session.

These sessions are open to anyone interested in the Academy and will be a great chance to get a sense of what you can expect, so please join these if you’re interested in taking part. We’ll also be recording these sessions so please get in touch if you can’t make these times.
