This is the next in the series of the Love your environment events!

Since COVID-19 became part of our lives over the past year, we’ve come to appreciate the importance of the day-to-day environment we live in. For some of us, that’s a built-up, highly-populated place that’s normally very busy. For others, it’s a less populated, more rural, and relatively quiet place. Whether urban, rural, or anything in-between, the spaces we move through to reach the shops, go to work, or visit friends and family have a huge impact on how we feel. Do we feel oppressed, depressed, and feel the need to escape? Do we find things that uplift our spirits and helps us to believe that the spaces we move through and live are actually pretty good?

This event will be exploring the way public spaces and places are designed – and how that can make your community feel.

Following the government’s plans to ease COVID-19 restrictions on June 21st, this event is being planned to be delivered in person without restrictions. We will be monitoring government advice regarding face-to-face events and will ensure that appropriate safety measures are in place. We will update attendees if we need to change the format of the event should there be any changes to government guidance.

If you would like to register to attend in person we ask you to:

  • Test yourself before the event (you can order a lateral flow test here)
  • Do not attend the event if you believe you have been exposed to, or are displaying symptoms of, COVID-19

Although we are running the event without restrictions, you are still welcome to wear masks. If you have any questions or specific requests, such as attendees from the same area sitting on the same table, please email us and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
