What will shape the next decade for England’s communities?
The future is ours speculates on 41 ‘future factors’ that could shape communities to 2030 and beyond. These includes factors that are already well recognised – climate change, the mental health crisis and our ageing society – as well as some unexpected jokers in the pack. The report imagines how these looming societal shifts might combine together to impact on communities, and uses this as a basis to suggest six core capabilities we can nurture now to increase our resilience in the face of change.
