This briefing follows on from the review of literature on the value of informal community activity in conditions of crisis (Briefing 3). It examines community contributions, collaborations and connections in the 26 research areas and where and how they might fit along a spectrum of formal and informal ways of working.
This is the fourth in the new series on community responses to COVID-19 and how they recover. Further briefings will be published through 2020 and 2021 to share early findings and learn from others exploring similar questions.
