Winter 2023 has been a challenging time for us all – from the impact of the cost-of-living crisis during the winter months, public sector strikes, coupled with the rising pressure of successfully delivering Big Local plans and planning for legacy and closure – managing stress and the need for support is greater than ever.

With this in mind, Local Trust is holding the March Keep Connected on Mental Health and Mindfulness as a chance to take a break from the day and come together with the Urban Mindfulness Foundation for a mental health check-in to learn new ways of supporting yourself and those around you, if you can.

We will be covering an introduction to mindfulness, the chance to undertake a short practice and learn some tips about how you can incorporate mindfulness practice in day-to-day life and through times of stress to build personal resilience and wellbeing as well as an opportunity to come together for peer support and connection.
