About this event
This event will help you to identify practical approaches for measuring your impact. This will help you tell your story about what has changed in your area as a result of the work done by your partnership and the projects you have supported.
Who is this for?
It is for people in Big Local areas who want to:
- measure the impact of Big Local in your community
- find out about suitable tools and frameworks
- share ideas and experiences with other Big Local areas
- learn about community research approaches
- tell your story using numbers and examples.
This event is shaped by the research undertaken in 2016 about how people are measuring the impact of Big Local activities. Resources for Change was commissioned by Local Trust to do this work and we met 20 Big Local partnerships to talk to them about what they were doing. It is these experiences that have helped us to design this learning event. We know that people are doing great things within Big Local areas but also that partnerships are finding it difficult to collect information that proves this to other local residents, partnership organisations, Local Trust and others. We also learned about some of the interesting ways that some partnerships and projects are measuring their impact and this event will be an opportunity to share that knowledge.
