This session will equip you with all the skills you need to host meetings and events using the online platform Zoom. We will explore how to run brilliant meetings, increase community participation and overcome physical or digital barriers to getting online.

Please only book onto this session if you have attended a Zoom call before, and are aware of how to access the mute, hands up, poll and breakout room functions. You don’t need to be a pro at using Zoom, but we won’t be teaching you in this session how to use the platform. If you are still new to Zoom, try out one of our “Getting to know Zoom” sessions or book in a 1:1 with one of our digital champions.

The session will cover:

  •  scheduling a meeting on Zoom
  •  tips and advice on holding successful meetings
  •  becoming familiar with the tools on Zoom that enable your meetings to run smoothly

This session is for people who have attended our getting to know Zoom session or are already familiar with the platform and want to deepen their practice.

This session will be hosted by Local Trust and supported by online learning community organisation Act Build Change.

Places are limited to 15 participants – we are running multiple sessions so check our events page for more information.
