Big Local

Wargrave

Save area

Wargrave Big Local area is in St. Helens, Merseyside. Around 3,000 people live in the area, which is made up of traditional terraced housing mixed with 1960s style social housing, with around a quarter of these rented from social landlords.

Within the area there is little open and green space, although outside of the Big Local area there are parks, farms and even an old colliery. The railway cuts through one corner of the area, but a bridge helps to connect the community.

We have been awarded £1million of National Lottery funding as part of Big Local and we need ideas from locals to help spend it!
