Marsh and Micklefield

Save area

Marsh and Micklefield in Buckinghamshire are two adjacent wards on the eastern side of High Wycombe. People are proud to say they come from either Marsh or Micklefield, but it's also very true that both areas have social challenges including relatively poor housing, low employment opportunities, few community facilities and poor access to public transport especially up the Micklefield Hill.

The Marsh and Micklefield Big Local partnership is clear that it wants the quality of life in Marsh and Micklefield to be substantially better than now. Through the Big Local plan and profile it was agreed that a positive response to the issues of the area is to increase the personal and collective aspirations, opportunities and options for individuals and communities locally.
