Hackney Wick

Save area

Hackney Wick is a vibrant, diverse and well-connected area on the edge of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, west of the Lee Navigation, with a lively, mixed-use focus of activity containing a blend of high quality new and old buildings, employment space, retail and residential premises with good accessibility to rail and bus services. It straddles the boundary between the London Borough of Hackney and the London Borough of Tower Hamlets in East London, and is bisected by the A12 link to the Blackwall Tunnel. It's situated at the southern tip of Hackney Marshes and 15 minutes from Hackney Central - the historic centre of the borough. Hackney Wick has its own Overground station, with links to Highbury & Islington and Central London to the west, and the regenerated hustle and bustle of Stratford and the high-speed rail link to the east.
