Jonathan has 25 years’ experience working in the public and voluntary sectors in roles combining responsibility for organisational finances with other areas of internal operations.
Johnathan is director of finance and resources at JDRF, a medical research charity focusing on type 1 diabetes. He has considerable experience of charity governance and strategic planning. He's also experienced in working in new and growing charities and establishing systems to help them function effectively.
In 2001, Jonathan and a group of friends established a UK charity to support educational initiatives for pastoralist communities in northern Kenya.
He recently completed a part-time fellowship on the Clore Social Leadership Programme, a new development opportunity for 16 voluntary sector leaders each year.
