Jeannette is an independent business strategy, corporate governance and board advisor.
Jeannette’s career began as an Auditor and Certified Public Accountant with Price Waterhouse in New York City. Shortly after moving into banking she relocated to the UK in 1984, where her financial services career included roles in most corporate functions, including Finance, Operations, Investment Banking, Human Resources, Technology, Regulatory Compliance and Chief Operating Officer roles. In 2010 Jeannette moved into consulting, advising clients on Corporate Governance, Risk Management and Regulatory Matters. Throughout her career Jeannette has led major transformation projects, new business initiative, talent and leadership development programmes.
In 2009 Jeannette gained her coaching qualification, which she uses in her professional work, and also working with young people making early career decisions. She is involved in the government’s Inspiring the Future Programme and in the Young Money and Financial Education Forum, financial capability building programme.
Jeannette is a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment and the Chartered Management Institute.
Jeannette’s desire to become a Trustee comes from her belief in the need for social mobility, formed by her own life – her parents immigrated to the US in 1955.
