Closing date: 18 April 2017
We are hiring two new researchers to join a small team working on an ambitious programme of research and evaluation. The researchers will have a rare opportunity to lead on projects from design to write-up, using rigorous qualitative and quantitative methods to draw learning from Big Local.
Come and join our team and help us support people to make their areas even better places to live.
At Local Trust, we have £150m to invest in communities over the next decade, in places that need funding, support and encouragement. But we don’t decide how much gets spent, on what and when. Instead, residents decide how to use the money to meet local needs. Our funding approach means that every community tailors the funding around their own priorities. In coming together to think about solutions, our support structure also helps to build confidence, skills and capacity.
We are increasing capacity in our team because we are ramping up our activity. There are more projects to fund, learning to be shared and policy makers to influence.
Our new roles will suit people who like variety. It’s fast paced but enormously rewarding. When you go and meet the communities we work with, you will see and hear things that are likely to move and inspire you. We are looking for hard workers, those who can bring creativity and can make a difference. We hope that you will appreciate what a unique place Local Trust is. So don’t miss out on an opportunity to make your mark in what could be a career-defining role.
